Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry says that the government is not implementing on article 148 of the constitution despite repeatedly saying it will do so. A province wide strike is being observed across Sindh after President Awami Tehreek Ayaz Latif Palijo called for a peaceful wheel jam & shutter down strike to protest the killing of innocent people at the 'Mohabbat-e-Sindh' rally on Tuesday. One person was killed, while two others were injured as the situation in old city area of Karachi remains tense following an attack on Awami Tehreek's 'Mohabbat-e-Sindh' rally which left 12 people dead on Tuesday evening.
